His grandfather was Richard Perryman the successful jockey and trainer who won a number of British classic horse races, Guy became a disc jockey instead!! As a young child Guy discovered his creative and entrepreneurial streak by producing home theatre shows, writing a comedy magazine, producing cassette radio shows in his bedroom and draughting maps to imagined cities.

Soon creates his own club events in Tokyo including the hugely popular UK Night at Milk during the 90′s Brit Pop boom, followed by Club Rocket techno events and Baby Powder lounge parties.
Guy was born February 2 1965 in Scotland to English parents and was raised in Singapore and Australia. His grandfather was the successful jockey and trainer Richard “Dick” Perryman and his maternal grandparents were pioneering farmers in Africa.
He was a radio broadcaster, DJ and events producer in Sydney, Australia from 1983-1990. Guy got the travel bug early on with his naval officer father being posted to various locations around the world and the entertainment bug backstage at theatre productions his mother was involved with.

Guy joins the launch of Virgin Megastore, Darling Harbour, Sydney as DJ in 1988.
